This Privacy Policy describes how the National Development Centre for Children and Young People (NUBU) collects and uses personal information about you when you visit the website https://www.pmto.no.
NUBU is a research and competence centre that helps children and adolescents with serious behavioural problems, their families, kindergartens and schools receive help that is research-based, relevant, individually adapted and outcome-efficient. For more information visit: www.nubu.no.
The website www.pmto.no is aimed at parents and others interested in finding information about the Parent Management Training – Oregon Model (PMTO) and Early Intervention Prevention Programme for Children at Risk (TIBIR). In addition, the website www.pmto.no is a login page for:
- A password-protected web application for practitioners and implementers of PMTO and TIBIR.
- A password-protected web application with materials for parents participating in PMTO programme training.
This Privacy Policy deals only with NUBU's processing of personal data on the publicly available section of the website and the web application with materials for parents. The same guidelines apply to both parts of the system and will hereafter be referred to as www.pmto.no. All parents participating in PMTO training use the same username and password when they log in. These are given to them by their therapist.
For the web application for practitioners and implementers, a separate privacy policy has been prepared.

When you visit www.pmto.no we log the time, IP address and URL. We do not store any personal data other than this when you merely visit www.pmto.no.
How is the information about you used?
NUBU uses anonymised information to create user statistics that are used to improve the web pages. Login attempts are logged to detect attempts at hacking and to detect technical issues when they occur.
How long do we store your information?
The logs are stored for about 3 months.
Access to and correction of your information
If you are a resident of an EU/EEA country, including Norway, you have the right to access the information we have about you and to correct any incorrect information. The personal data mentioned above are automatically collected and largely anonymised.

Aplia AS troubleshoots, tests and further develops www.pmto.no.
Vivende As stores data, including backups, in a secure data centre located in Norway (Serve the World, Oslo Furuset). The hosting provider's subcontractor is subject to the same strict security and confidentiality requirements.
Google provides the Google Analytics tool used to analyse user statistics from www.pmto.no. Google anonymizes the data when stored in Google Analytics. The purpose of this is to prepare statistics that we use to improve and further develop the information offered on the website. Examples of the kind of information the statistics provide include how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used.
