TIBIR stands for ”Tidlig innsats for barn i risiko” ("Early Initiatives for Children at Risk"). It is a programme for the prevention and treatment of behavioral problems in children.

PMTO is an acronym for Parent Management Training – Oregon. It is a low-threshold service for parents whose children have behavioral problems.

Parent groups are one of the interventions in the Early Initiatives for Children at Risk (TIBIR) programme.  The intervention is based on the principles in the Parent Management Training- Oregon (PMTO) treatment method.

Brief Parent Training is one of the interventions in the Early Initiatives for Children at Risk (TIBIR) prevention programme.  It takes place over a short time period and is built on the principles outlined in the Parent Management Training – Oregon (PMTO) treatment method.

Teacher Consultation is one of the interventions in the Early Initiative for Children at Risk prevention programme. The intervention is based on the principles in the Parent Management Training – Oregon (PMTO) treatment method and the school wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support model  (SWPBIS)

Child Social Skills Training is one of the interventions in the Early Initiative for Children at Risk prevention programme. The intervention is based on the principles in the Parent Management Training – Oregon (PMTO) treatment method and the programme Stop Now and Plan (SNAP). SNAP is a cognitive behavior therapeutic method developed by the Child Developmental Institute in Toronto, Canada.

Assessment is one of the interventions in the Early Initiative for Children at Risk prevention programme.
